Director Application

The Riverboat Foundation will be accepting applications from residents of the Washington, Ainsowrth and Kalona areas for the 2026-28 board term. No matter where the director resides they will represent the entire Washington County area. All board members must live or work in Washington County, Iowa.

Eligible persons should also be aware that they will be required to undergo an extensive background check by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and be required to attend meetings at different locations around the county. Both meeting time and travel is uncompensated as this a volunteer position.

Board terms are 3 years and a board member is eligible to serve 2 consecutive terms for a total of 6 years.
